In simple terms; self esteem is how you perceive yourself from within you. If you want happiness, success and fulfillment in this life, you’ll need higher levels of self esteem. Without them, you will not have the motivation and happiness it takes to succeed at whatever you are doing.

Low self esteem brings depression, fear, anxiety, anger and all sorts of negative emotions and behaviors you can think of. People with low self esteem levels, are always offended by any form of comments, when corrected they are always defensive because they are afraid of accepting their weaknesses. They try to cover up their weaknesses by becoming defensive.

People with low self esteem levels, are always jealous of other people’s successes, they enjoy talking negatively about people and they are disobedient to any form of authority. Life is always bad to them and inwardly they truly believe they can’t achieve anything. They are always postponing tasks and are lazy in nature. They don’t complete any worthwhile task in their life and continue to carry on living life from year to year without accomplishing anything. When asked why they haven’t achieved anything in life, they always find an excuse. It’s never them who is the problem but something or somebody.

Possessing high self esteem or self confidence mean, you will be able to live life with peace, joy and happiness. You won’t be afraid to try new things, to tackle complex problems and to communicate with people from all walks of life.

A great advantage of possessing high self confidence is that, people will want to hang around you, do business with you and are willing to learn from you. You will be admired everywhere you go. You will be confident of who you are, not afraid of what people might say about you, not offended by criticisms and not afraid of making mistakes.

If you’re one of those guys with low self esteem levels, build it up by initiating new positive beliefs. Become optimistic, believe in you, appreciate you and see yourself as worthy of whatever you want to achieve. You can become great and successful, only if you’re willing to increase your levels of self esteem!
