Some People Dream of Success While Others Wake Up And Work Hard At It!

Your talent is the area of your life where you are able to effectively and efficiently provide extreme value to mankind and in return you get compensated for your efforts.

Your talent is your God-given ability and it’s your access door to abundance. Through your talent you’re able to make a difference to the world, change lives and make life easier to others.

Everyone of us has a unique talent they were born with. It doesn’t matter whether the person is disabled or not, they too are endowed with an amazing ability that is meant to solve somebody else’s problem.

Those who develop their talents will set themselves apart from the rest. Your goal is to discover your talent, find successful people who are already operating in that area and imitate what they did to be where they are now! If you want to be the best at what you do, you need to develop your talent, learn, practise and become very skillful at what you do. Talent that is not developed, will not take you far!

One of the major enemies of Talent is a thing called ‘fear’. Fear is a bully, a dream destroyer and a vision stealer. It stands in front of the door of your opportunity to stop you from crossing over to fulfillment and achievement. Fear is a loud mouth, talking trash and telling you that you can never make it. It gives you all the reasons in the world of how impossible and difficult it is to accomplish your dreams. It’s all lies, it’s just fear talking smack!

Fear only gives you negative ideas not positive ones. It reminds you of your weaknesses, not your strengths. It comes out with a tsunami of reasons why dreams can’t be accomplished. If you tolerate fear, you will not go far. You will run away from your life’s purposes and spend life frustrated, unfulfilled, broke, unhappy and doing things you are not meant to do.

If you want to live a life of abundance, success and breakthrough then you need to conquer fear by believing in your God given abilities and having faith in the fulfilment of your dreams. Fear is also destroyed by Action. If you believe in your dream, then take action and you’ll begin to see fear vanishing and that stubborn trash talking voice shutting up!

Your dreams are more important than your fears, remember that! Through your dreams you are able to live a life of JOY, happiness and fulfilment. Go for it, you too are a Champion. Believe!

“Nothing Is So Fatiguing As The Eternal Hanging On of An Uncompleted Task.” – William James

Procrastination is a behavior of putting things off to a later date or time. Procrastinators usually say; “I have enough time, I will do this and that later on”

How many times have you ever wanted to write your book, your article or even a letter to someone and you rescheduled it for another time in the near future? How many times have you ever tried to call someone and you kept on believing there is enough time in the future to do so? Procrastinators reschedule their “now tasks” to implement them in the future such as; reading an important book, completing an important assignment, doing some homework on time, spending time with kids, body exercise, spending time with loved ones, etc

You make lists upon list of all the things you’re going to do in the near future. But when that future time comes to present, instead of you implementing those tasks, you look for something else to do like:

Checking your emails

Deciding to watch TV

Deciding to do some laundry

Playing solitaire or free cell games

Surfing the web looking for a new product

Calling someone to have a general chat or talk about someone

Looking for additional information to read from the Internet as if you don’t have much to read

Etc

And then . . . “Oh, God there is not enough time to do this and that!, Oh well, I have to do it tomorrow now”

Tomorrow comes. What happens? History repeats itself. What a waste if you ask me. Procrastinators tell lies to themselves. Such as, “I’ll feel more like doing this tomorrow.” Or “I work best under pressure.” But in fact they do not get the urge the next day to do something.

Procrastinators actively look for distractions, particularly ones that don’t take a lot of commitment on their part. Procrastinators sabotage themselves. They put obstacles in their own path. They actually choose paths that hurt their performance.

Procrastination holds someone back or can I say it keeps you back in the past. There is no improvement from procrastination, things remain the same waiting for you to change them. The future has no JOY because of procrastination. Procrastination for real is a thief of time, energy and self-esteem. But we not only aide this theft, we ENCOURAGE it! And when we finally do get around to the fundamental tasks, we’re exhausted, guilt-ridden and stressed out.

There is no success in the future if you entertain procrastination in the present.

Like so many things, procrastination is not an untamable beast. It is a habit that has some specific origin, and it is a habit that you can overcome. It is not something you should habitat in your life, but get rid of it to enjoy a good quality life without worries that comes from pondering on missed opportunities.

There are many ways to avoid success in life, but the most sure-fire way to fail is procrastination. – Simon Preacher

Cripple means deprivation, disability, inability and inefficiency to name just a few.

When fear is allowed to run your errands it will leave you feeling powerless and crippled. Fear is a joy stealer and a life destroyer to a greater extent. It has caused many people to not pursue their heart’s desires and is responsible for letting people go down to the grave without having to make a difference in the world.

Fear will cause you to stop taking action. It cripples you and renders you powerless. When you are supposed to be taking action, fear will cause you to feel tired, to want to sleep and to hide from the world.

FEAR has been known as:

FEAR: False Emotions Appearing Real
FEAR: False Expectations About Reality
FEAR: Finding Excuses And Reasons
FEAR: Failure Expected And Received

We can go on and on but I’m sure you get the point. Fear is all about showing you unfavorable outcomes that are based on false evidence. Fear is your greatest hindrance to success, it is the obstacle in your path to a victorious future. Every fear is like a closed door that prevents you from growing and developing. If you conquer fear, you will definitely enter the “Promised Land”

Fear goes hand in hand with feelings of insecurity and low self esteem. If you look down on yourself, you become afraid of making bigger shifts in your life as you perceive yourself as unworthy. “When you feel insecure, you lack the boldness to try something new. You tend to stick to old habits and familiar ways, even if you don’t like them. When you fear the new and the unknown your life becomes stale, boring and unfulfilled. You live a habitual life without growth” – Valerie Satterwhite

It seems as if fear is there to help you out and protecting you from embarrassments. It seems as if fear is working on your side, but that is just “One Fat Lie”. Fear works against you not for you and it is your enemy. Fear doesn’t care about you and it rejoices in seeing you leaving under its spell, sucking your energy and creativity.

What I want you to do is to stop listening to this dangerous emotion or can I say your inner critic. You are bigger than fear and you are capable of succeeding in this life. When you feel the emotions of fear, listen to them calmly. You will realize it is lying to you. Just tell it to “Get behind me Satan” and it will run away from you for a while. Then move on, get going and pursue your goals. Let nothing step in your way. Many people have lost jobs, careers, love, etc because of this inner critic. It crippled them and they weren’t able to take the necessary action to succeed.

I hope you won’t be a victim of fear from today onwards. You are bigger and smarter than fear.

Someone once said fear is:

F – False
E – Evidence
A – Appearing
R – Real

Well I agree. Many people allow fear to get hold of them and it destroys them before they begin taking any action. They allow negative self talk or negative words from other people to give them a biased future prediction. They end up with this wrong and negative image in their imagination and are fully persuaded that what they are thinking of, will surely come to pass.

Fear comes because people feel the need of protecting themselves from what they perceive as a painful outcome. The human mind begins to work to try by all means to avoid such pain from being experienced. Now the problem with fear is that, these negative thoughts will eventually become a self fulfilling prophecy.

Fear is the reason why many people have never experienced life to the full. There are dreams, goals, ideas, institutes, jobs that have been destroyed by fear and have never seen the light of the day. They are buried deep down in the hearts of those who have been defeated and some of them have been buried six feet under the ground.

In the business world; what holds people back from signing major contracts, acquire new customers and to expand their businesses beyond measure is fear. So the affected people continue experiencing a mediocre life and even end up closing their businesses because they have been overwhelmed by fear.

Some people ruin their relationships because somehow they are afraid that in the future they’ll get disappointed. So they jeopardize their relationships with those around them due to fear.

Fear makes people to not give birth to their vision, goals and desires.

So if you are afraid of succeeding or afraid of trusting others, then cast that fear away from your mind. You are bigger than fear and it isn’t your companion but your enemy. Don’t let fear reign in your life and everything will work out well for you.

Fear is an emotional response to dangers and anything that threatens us. It is a human instinct that occurs when there is danger in sight. When you are operating under the emotion of fear, you are just simply trying to avoid getting hurt, so you do everything you can to avoid and escape such a perceived result to take place.

There are two groups of fear. There is HEALTHY FEAR & UNHEALTHY FEAR. HEALTHY FEAR helps you to not get yourself in trouble. It is a wonderful asset that protects us from dangerous situations and keeping us safe. Think about, being afraid to commit crime, to hurt someone from anger, plus so many things. You are afraid because you don’t want to get yourself in trouble and affecting the lives of those around you. Think about being afraid of smoking due to healthy hazards that might come your way in the future. Think about fear from not sleeping around due to incurable diseases such as AIDS. All of these scenarios of fear are HEALTHY.

On the other side of the coin we have UNHEALTHY FEAR which has the propensity of limiting our lives tremendously. This kind of fear can make you think and feel that what you might have to offer is invaluable. It makes you feel that you do not fit and that being YOU is not acceptable. I know this bit because there was a time when I was in direct sales, I was intimidated by other CEOs and I ended up not being me and lost the business. I didn’t pursue some leads because of intimidation from fear.

So we avoid going through such kind of perceived pain and we avoid taking any action, so we lock ourselves in our own prisons. There we feel safe as we believe no one can hurt us. Living this way gives us the illusion of safety, but leaves us unfulfilled. Not only that, you can lose and worsen your relationships because of fear. You will go broke because you are afraid to network and mingle with prospective clients. Fear makes you live life without fulfilling your destiny and not unleashing the gift within you.

This UNHEALTHY FEAR hides you when you should be revealed. The problem with this fear is that though it justifies its reason to protect you from humiliation and embarrassment, it is still not good for you. There are opportunities you need to pursue and fear has to be disallowed.

It’s time you face an fear that is before you and the ones you have tolerated. Time you have a chat with them for the last time. Divorce them from your life and it’s time you replace it with some belief and faith. Boldness is what you need from now onwards. You could’ve been on on another level in your life had you not allowed fear to manage your affairs in the past.

If you were a victim of fear, Fear not, there are many people who have also gone through the same situations and they made a choice as well to get rid of it. Without fear, you will be creative, you will find opportunities for you to achieve your life purpose and maximize it.
