A thought is a “thing or a substance”. It is a non physical substance that you receive and process in your mind. It is not something you can touch or see, but something that you experience from within you. A thought can be defined from various perspectives; there are thoughts that are in your subconscious mind when you THINK about events from the past. These thoughts were formed out of things you have seen, touched, heard, ate, smelt or taught.
Conversely There are those thoughts that have never been in your counscious mind, but they derive from outside of you, those are called revelatory thoughts. New ideas, concepts, etc derives from revelatory thoughts.
But what is important, is how you think. How you think affects how you feel which then leads to how your reactions and your reaction brings about a manifestation of your processed thought.
Thoughts -> Feelings -> Actions -> Manifestation
What you think about quite often, is what you experience in your physical life.
Napoleon Hill, from his timeless classic self improvement book nailed it to the point: “Thoughts are things. What we think about frequently and with emotion, good or bad, eventually materialize in our lives.”
As from today, It is important you make a decision as to what you allow to think and process in your mind! You will be doing a favor to yourself, those around you, the world at large and the future generations.
