Great comment Gary. You just reminded me of Jabez. Who was named after pain and sorrow. Those days people used to live a life that resembles their name. But as you said, Jabez had a different heart. He had faith and dared to believe in God. He then prayed to get his boundaries extended. It started inside and he prayed with faith. It is then said, God made him successful by extending his boarders.

The Bible say, “Guard your heart with all diligence because from it flow the issues of life.” It was very interesting to me to discover that most of the time the Hebrew word for issues was used in the rest of the Old Testament it was translated “boundaries” or “boarders.” It’s The Creator of man’s instruction telling him that he needs to pay attention to what is happening in his heart because what comes out of there determines the distance he can go.

You are right Robert. Many people are not familiar with success so they are afraid of the new life they will live. It is important that one settle it within themselves that they are successful. That’s where positive affirmations come into play; To notify your unconscious mind that you are successful.

So when you begin to take action towards success, there won’t be any fear and you will succeed

This is something I had to deal with. One day I realized that it was not failure that I feared but success and the opportunity it offers. It was a fear of stepping out of the familiar to the unfamiliar. Great article Simon
