The Stream Wears At The Stone Not Through Strength, But Through PERSEVERANCE!
Ask those who have succeeded or read their testimonials, you will find one common trait they all possess – Persistence!
Persistence is one of the major weapon they had and have used to overcome barriers and made history in their lives. Calvin Coolidge said:
“Nothing in this world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb… Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.”
My point is to encourage you to never give up or quit because the going has gotten tough! There is no such thing as failure unless you believe in your mind that you have failed. The things many people call failure are actually life lessons that teach people about what works and what doesn’t work. Persistence is getting up after each and every failure. A lot of successful people do fail, not once or twice, but hundreds of times. Failure to them is simply a challenge to overcome and accomplish their goals.
The mountain might seem impossible to climb. But remember, it takes one step at a time to reach the top of the mountain and as long as you persist, you will get there. Yes, climbing the mountain might not be easy, there are rocks, stones, and so many things that can stand your way. But those things you can overcome if you are willing to go through them and use them as stepping stones to climb up your mountain.
Sometimes you stumble, grow weary, you sweat and experience pain for climbing the mountain, but remember joy will soon come when you reach the mountain top. Those who persist are the ones who get to reach the pinnacle of the mountain.
Stay focused on your main goal you will eventually overcome the odds and attain success. Have a strong will to succeed and make up your mind that no matter what, you’re determined to WIN. If a door closes in front of you, another door will certainly open up for you. Become passionate to what you do as long as you are making a difference and changing lives in a positive way. To succeed, you need to make sure you keep persisting & pushing forward until you accomplish your goals! Never give up which is one of the greatest weaknesses of human beings! Success is based on persistence and consistency, not luck!
Keep pushing, keep striving forward consistently with a burning desire to accomplish your goals. When you come across challenges and you get knocked down, rise up and get moving. Every stumbling stone should become a stepping stone until you reach your destination. That is what will call Persistence.
