There is a timeless proverb that says; “What You Sow, Is What You Reap” This is a Universal Principle that has been around for a long-long time and we are all witness of it’s truth and effectiveness. Many people when they hear of the words sowing or seed they only think of physical or tangible seeds, the ones we can see, eat, feel and touch; but there are other seeds we cannot see or touch and they are called intangible seeds. These are the seeds I want to talk about as they have the power to make you a life changer, a problem solver and a solution provider rather than a problem developer in this world.
Examples of some of the intangible seeds we sow in our lives include our thoughts/internal words and they produce fruit after their kind just like the tangible seeds. It has been said several times that “You Are What You Think” and that “Thoughts Are Things”. Scientists have estimated that we have over 30,000 thoughts every day. The problem is that those 30,000 thoughts tend to be the exact same thoughts repeating themselves over and over again! It means you’re sowing 30,000 seeds daily in your life!
Many people focus on wrong things in life. They spend time thinking about the negative staff such as their debts, relationship problems, etc instead of focusing on how to earn more money or how to improve their relationships. By doing so, they keep on sowing negative seeds instead of positive ones and hence nothing changes. The end result is that; they keep on reaping the fruits they don’t want from their garden of life.
Learn to monitor your thoughts if you want to change your life. Your thoughts are the seeds you use to create your reality! How much time do you spend focusing on what you don’t want in life instead of focusing on what you do want? If you want to reap good fruit in your life, begin sowing the right seeds not the wrong ones. Every time you pay attention on your problems and how bad life is to you, you won’t be able to reap anything good out of it. Think of solutions with a positive mind frame and ask yourself questions to come out with positive answers that will make you a better person. Take responsibility of your life and appreciate you cannot change the past but the future. Stop sowing victim and blame seeds and begin sowing responsibility seeds. Once you begin taking responsibility of your life, you begin to become honest to yourself and end up coming with better solutions for a top notch quality of life.
Check your seed bag and go through it (In this case it is your mind) and see if there is no unwanted seeds in it. If you change your negative seeds to positive ones, you will reap good fruit. The Universal Principles cannot be altered by anybody and the good news is they work for you too. The key to success is to change what you SOW or in simple terms change the way you THINK.
What sort of thoughts are you accommodating in your mind? Pause and listen to your self talk. Can you see the connection between what you’re thinking and the life you’re experiencing? Again allow me to ask you this question, What Are You Sowing In The Garden of Your Life – your Mind?
