Taming Your Inner Voice

You Are Responsible For Your Thinking. If You Change The Way You Think, Your Life Will Get Better.

wild horse1 200x300 Taming Your Inner VoiceWe all have a voice that talks to us. You might know it as your conscience, your inner man or your inner voice. It’s ever talking and suggesting things to you.

Many people are not aware of this voice even though it’s been talking within them all their life. You can never get rid of your inner voice, so your best bet is to make it function on your favor.

For those people who grew up in a negative environment that voice will help them to create negative suggestions which manifests negative outcomes. If you are fortunate to have grown up in a positive environment, your inner voice will help you suggest positive ideas and the consequences will be positive outcomes.

On a negative note; this voice can make anything worse. It has the tendency of taking a small problem, think about it for awhile, and create a humongous problem out of it. It rehearses problematic thoughts, focuses on what might go wrong and points out all negative possibilities.

What you end up with is an imagination that has a very bad situation. The problem goes from a mild annoyance to a major catastrophe as you persuade yourself that the imagined situation is the real situation. You end up being busy confronting a big problem that only exists in your mind.

These kind of thoughts will lead to all sorts of negative outcomes. You can end up saying words you will live to regret for the rest of your life, you can become weakened, suicidal, depressed or violent. These outcomes are caused by the emotions you have created based on exaggerated thoughts. The original problem may be bad enough but it is not as catastrophic as your new invention. Change your mind and attitude so as to shrink the exaggerated thought back to its original size.

To change your inner dialogue you must catch it in action. To do this you have to pay attention to yourself. You must engage in self-observation and listen to it. So next time when you catch your inner voice thinking negatively; STOP it on its tracks, arrest it and get rid of it immediately.

Self-discipline begins with the mastery of your thoughts. If you don’t control what you think, you can’t control what you do. Simply, self-discipline enables you to think first and act afterward.

Just like a wild horse that needs to be tamed, it requires patience and determination to tame that beast. Its the same with your inner voice, you need patience, willingness and determination to tame it. It’s not easy, but YES you can tame it. It can be done, don’t be discouraged!

Once your inner voice is tamed it will submit under your authority and begin to work on your favor. You’ll begin to think positively and strategically while experiencing positive outcomes in your life! That’s exactly what you need!
